CLIENT TESTIMONIAL
"What made me appreciate Dimond Mortgage so much was having been to other places and having such a bad experience. I felt rushed, and that I was not dealt with honestly. I was looking to do a refinance and met with Ted. Suddenly, I was treated with respect. He introduced me to Donna and we worked together and got it done. From the other places I had been, I was starting to feel like getting a mortgage was like buying a used car - I felt pushed and the people didn't seem ethical. Donna heard me, she listened to what I wanted, and the rate I wanted, and made it happen in a very short time."

Dawn Johnson
was born in Las Vegas, Nevada but moved to Texas when I was ten and I am really still a Texas girl at heart. I went off to California for college, earning a business/economics degree from Westmont College in Santa Barbara. After graduation I went to work in a bank's loan department, then furthered my education in finance and properties by getting my real estate license. That way, I could stay to be a beach bum for a little while longer.
I then packed up and moved to Taos (thought I would change to a ski bum) where I met my husband here on the ski slopes - so I had to stay. Now I am the mother of 9-year-old twin boys, and am an active volunteer in the community. I am president of the Taos Charter School Board and also serve on the Taos Hockey Board. I am committed to family and community as well to my clients.
As a loan officer at Dimond Mortgage, I do all kinds of loans: construction, refinance, purchase. I have a real sense of reliability and accountability in my work ethic. I like a challenge and I am pretty tenacious when trying to get things done. My philosophy is to treat people the way I want to be treated, with fairness, kindness and respect.
