In the late 70s there was an adobe house across the street from the Don Quixote Lounge and thatıs where I was born. My parents were hippies and my mother loves Mexico so she and I spent a good part of my childhood traveling Central America. I spent 6th and 7th grades in the Mexican public schools and became fluent in Spanish.

Wherever I traveled, I always ended up back in Taos. Life here, in Mexico, and even in Texas gave me a love for Latin American traditions and culture. I feel deep ties to the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, the Rio Grande River and the community within.

My father remained in Taos and teaches at Chamisa Mesa High School. I am working toward a degree in business at the University of New Mexico - Taos.

Three years ago I received a job offer from a friend who worked for a mortgage company. She said she was so busy she could use some help. I knew almost nothing about mortgages but I soon realized that this was something I could do for the rest of my life. I love the nuances of the business and the ever-changing industry.
